SPECIAL NOTE: The Little Sisters are announcing a change in our beloved Turtle Derby Event this year.  We are unable to get the larger 4” Red Eared Slider Turtles.  Many of the sources no longer sell them and those that do make it cost prohibited.  Turtles under the 4” size are a source of salmonella and with youth being our turtle handlers, this is not an option.

The solution: The “races” will be treated as always with naming rights for sponsoring a Non-Turtle and wagering remains the same but instead of live turtles a giant wheel will be spun.  The winner from the 30 Maiden Races/Spins moves on to the 3 Elimination Races/Spins, the winners of the Elimination Races/Spins go on to the Grand Sweepstakes Race/Spin with a $1,000 First Place, $500 Second Place and $250 Third Place for the Sponsor.

All winning sponsors win not only bragging rights but one of a kind ceramic turtle!
